Baked Ziti with Spinach and Artichokes

  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 1 lb Ziti Pasta
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 2 cups ricotta chese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups tomato sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the ziti pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti with chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, ricotta cheese, and tomato sauce. Mix well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce and the ingredients are well distributed.
  4. In a greased baking dish, start layering the ziti mixture. Begin with a layer of the pasta mixture, followed by a sprinkling of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with a generous topping of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
